John Stewart Poop ’10

It was a revolting year, the Teabagging nuts took the Congress thanks to a Supreme Court filled with Nazis like John Roberts, Sam Alito, Clarence Thomas (whose wife is a Teabagger) and Antonin Scalia. Kudos to the San Francisco Giants who won. Wherever my dad may be, I am sure he was smiling. He loved the Giants even long after they left Harlem. Maybe Aston Villa will win the premiership in England. Only one championship since 1910, thus making them the Boston Red Sox of English soccer.

Top 10 NEW RELEASES FOR 2010
This is a tough one because I am including releases that were released in 2009 in the UK. But they made it over and into my consciousness in 2010 so they’re on the list. But once again they are in no particular order at all.

REISSUES
The deluxe reissues are getting crazy. Do l really need 6CD’s worth of In The Court of The Crimson King or pay $200 for the super duper deluxe tricked out version of David Bowie’s ”Station to Station” and ”Exile on Main Street”. It’s too much and money’s already too tight to mention.

That’s about it really. As I write this Keith Olbermann is no longer with MSNBC and it as a shame really. To me he was, the in the words of Tom Petty, The Last DJ:
“There goes the last DJ, Who plays what he wants to play
Who says what he wants to say…
There goes the true voice, there goes your freedom of choice”
