John Stewart Poop 2018

What else can be said that hasn’t been said already. This is the first best of post-print. I guess we can blame the millennial’s for the print edition of Poop dying. Heck we have blamed them for everything else. As far as I am concerned its tough to accept things are changing. Somehow Lil Pump’s “Gucci Gang” is given a good review in Pitchfork. Does anyone really think Ariana Grande is good at all? I am sure some like her, but I am not afraid to say I don’t like pop music. Does anyone think Queen could gain traction today? Most likely not. Because you have these kids who grew up with helicopter parenting and without the freedom to explore. Well you can say what you want, but just because something is original does not mean its good and “Gucci Gang” is just some mushmouthed shit, Lil Pump sounds like he is 10 xanax deep. Nevermind the good reviews a lot of the pop stars and mumble rappers get. I think some of the reviewers give a good review for fear of having dispersions cast upon them. Not to mention the bad reviews given of legitimately talented rock bands. I can say a lot but I wont. But you should be able to express your opinion about something and not have fear. But time is passing on. Village Voice is no longer. I wonder the Pazz and Jop list will continue and recently Maximum Rock and Roll announced an end to its print edition. Will physical albums cease to exist? I hope they don’t. But once again reissues outnumber new releases. No surprise considering the crappy state of modern music.
