Another year gone and another list put together, so in no particular order here are the albums I listened to the most over the last 12 months.

I skipped 2012 for no good reason but I’m back for 2013. Moving to an all subscription based music collection has resulted in a ton of music to listen to, probably too much in actuality but here we go with a list of those albums that I listened to most repeatedly over the last year. I’m going to keep my descriptions short because really music is a personal thing and one’s liking or disliking of something is based on their experience, and really is there anything more disappointing than to recommend something to someone saying how listening to it was…
Buy New or Used via amazon 1. The Cave Singers: No Witch – My favorite album of the year. Nice mix of styles that bring a dark groove to their folk roots. Buy New or Used via amazon 2. The Vaccines: What Did you Expect from The Vaccines – Sun, fun and catchy tunes, that’s what I expect from The Vaccines and this albums delivers. Buy New or Used via amazon 3. The War on Drugs: Slave Ambient – Lyrically a fusion of Dylan and Petty, the songs are expansive and invoke wide open spaces. Buy New or Used via…
Well 2010 is done, another year gone by, no pet monkey attacks occurred this year so that was a positive note overall. Apologies from admin. This posting was lost in the ether for god knows how long. Worth a look! **** SubPop has made a music sampler available for download, the site is worth the visit just to see the tribute to circa-90’s web design, and yes that is the right URL, just don’t let your significant other see that you visited it. http://www.subpop.com/cybersex
09 was an interesting year. Since this is my second year of POOP I did a better job of noting what I listened to throughout the year and managed to actually get a larger list together this time around. These albums are in no particular order, they are just the 10 that I came back to the most often over the course of the year in general. Buy through amazon OR @ eMusic 1. Illinois: The Adventures of Kid Catastrophe I referenced this album last year, at that time only a few “chapters” were available, finally this…
