El-P and Killer Mike make up Run the Jewels. Their “RTJ 2” record has many PoOPsters and other critics foaming. Here they offer advice to to girls as part of the “Ask a Grown Man” series. They are smart and generous and to the point. The thing is, while we knew they have those traits, we might not be prepared for the delivery here. The record is sooo intense and angry and full of noise. It’s a little bit of a shock to here these two guys explain life, relationships, men and boys in kind, calm and measured sentences.
